"Says cannot connect due to privacy setting, went into car try to set according to the steps shown in app, but no such setting. Only works when using Bluetooth nearby, useless."

"UPDATE: The in-app functions to locate you car on a map or perform some mapping/driving functions -- which the app appears to offer for non-electric models -- are still not compatible with the XC40 All-Electric, and likely other all-electric models, as of Apr 2022. Also, while recent updates improved the lag somewhat, the app is still fairly laggy when updating car status or performing functions on our XC40 Recharge all-electric. It still often indicates the car is locked when it's open, or vice versa. Similar story with climate control status. Also, still veeeeerrrry little control over the vehicle compared to similar apps from Tesla and other connected-car makers. The app only allows climate to be turned "on" to the last in-car settings for temperature, seats, etc. or "off"...it does not allow changes remotely. One has to be sitting in vehicle to change the climate settings. Volvo has a long way to go to get the app on par with, say, Tesla and to get the all-electric models to feature parity with their non-all-electric ones."

"Can't even see the full menu. Missing 2 tabs in the app out of 5 tabs"

"Own an XC90, been using the app for years. Added a 2022 XC60 T8 and the "Car" icon on the bottom row is missing when on the bottom row. No way to acces Driving Journal, maintenance, Vehicle Details or owners manual. XC90 is fine......ugh."

"Finally have remote start on my 22 XC60, which was sorely needed. Looking forward to getting all the features Volvo had in past models for years."

"Tyvärr en stor besvikelse. Fungerade prickfritt på min V60 av förra generationen men inte på min nuvarande av senaste generationen. Appen kan kommunicera med bilen och visa miltal, förbrukning osv men det går inte att skicka destinationer från kartsidan, meddelar bara att ett kommunikationsfel inträffat. Skärpning Volvo, fixa detta."

"Glitchy. Cant locate the car most of the time. Keeps telling me a window is open."

"So disappointing and pretty much pointless. I can't believe a company like Volvo would put out an app like this and I don't think it warrants being listed as a feature when buying a 2022 car. Cannot believe there isn't even the ability to defrost the windscreen! I can literally turn on air con (but not set a temperature) and lock/unlock the car, that's it."

"Since there is no feedback option in the app, I have to put my fb here. Good car awful app. Car is near to perfect (some practical things missing,but congrats,it is a different feeling and I am changed man on the roads). Please, hire a professional app dev team,and ask volunteers for beta testers. WoE the app is not explaining all its new features after the update? How should I guess the "Send start" is now sending engine start and not the heating? Where is the roadmap for the app published?"
